Fashion Show Update

 

On July 19th, RubyLove Girl Megan hosted a fashion show at the Boat Pavillion at Lake Forest Beach, Illinois, to benefit  A Safe Place – a domestic violence shelter. It was an event that’s been in the works for months for Megan to earn her gold award from the Girl Scout. After many email exchanges and coordinating, we finally made it happen. The show had a bit of a rough start due to bad weather, but many people still came in support of a good cause. It turned out to be a huge success! There were girls that ranged in age from 8 to 13, many moms came too. Megan also arranged for the girls to make their own inspirational shirts. And the RubyLove Reflection-Tees were a huge hit! All the shirts modeled in the show were raffled off, and proceeds from the sales of the shirts were donated to A Safe Place. I’m so proud of Megan for pulling it off.
