Giving Thanks

Dear RubyLove friends:

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. I was a little bit under the weather, so I took the chance to just relax at home and stayed off the computer for a few days.

It’s been a good year for RubyLove, with new stores carrying us in Florida, new designs that are getting great responses, and this blog that has given me the chance to connect with people who believes in the same positive attitude I have on life. It is the first time since the start of the company that I’ve really experienced the effects I have from my creations. And feeling the generosity of strangers who believes in me.

I am extremely thankful for everyone who has helped me along the way, giving me advice on how to better market the products, helping me improve the website, and share their stories of inspirations with me.

In the coming year I want to focus more on bringing more content to the blog, to bring new ideas and design tips. Also to continue finding ways to work with charities or fundraisers that can work well with the Reflection-Tees. I’m currently trying to put together a proposal for a Smile Big campaign with Crest to promote a positive, healthy lifestyle. I hope they’ll like the idea and turn it into something big!

I’d like to take the opportunity to give special thanks to the people who helped RubyLove out the most:

My wonderful silkscreen printers at Robella, they’re used to taking huge orders for Ed Hardy and David and Goliath, but are great with taking my smaller orders and very encouraging about the future of RubyLove.

My sewer Windy, who meticulously sews on each clothing tag by hand and making the shirts so much more finished and comfortable to wear.

My publicist Jason, who got us into Seventeen magazine and really helped spread the word about RubyLove. He even got Oprah to try on the tees! the word is they’re still working on fitting RubyLove into a show. Fingers crossed that will happen next year.

And last but not least, my loving husband who’s been so supportive and helpful through it all. He took the beautiful photos for the website and even helped me with the new longsleeve designs!

I thank all of you who’s been shopping at our online store and reading the updates. I hope to continue to bring positive feelings and inspirations to all of you.
